This enables a safe, one button request for rich traffic data and relevant information without distracting the driver.   The user can customize their voice menu by using a web-based interface.

                    Users will be able to log into the website, customize their route, and receive text, voice, or email messages when there are adverse driving conditions or alerts along their route.   The customization is also used when a users calls into the 511 system providing them with immediate specific information without having to traverse a long menu system.

                    The system can be configured to give alerts (voice, email, or text) on an event or scheduled basis just prior to the beginning of their commute and during their commute.    Using the website, the user can also specify level of alerts, MBTA transit information, airport information, and incidents.
